You got to sleep.
I believe your mind is working against it.
finish your dinner 3 hours before you trying to sleep.
have a glass of milk.. good for you.
hours after dinner take a long walk.. to make your legs feels tired.
trying reading a book ( you will fallsleep )
if you make yourself to spend energy and get tired.. sure you will get good sleep.. sure..

hey, methinks ur worried about sumthin...dont switch over to any sleeping pills-anything which is not natural is bad to some extent.do some pranayam(yoga).u can even read some boring books on bed.sleep in a very dim light.completely dark room during sleep is not good.close ur eyes and try counting downwards .if from 100 to 1 is easy for u then try 1000 to 1 ull get sleep within minutes.(it has worked a 100 times on me).if still it doesnt work u got 2 see ur doc.wish u good health.

If you're taking in any caffeine, then stop. Drink no caffeine (and don't have anything else that has caffeine in it, either (coffee, tea, chocolate, etc.).
Go to bed early and get up early. If there is anything on your mind that is keeping you from sleeping at night, then put it out of your mind before bedtime, just relax and forget about it.
If that isn't possible, then get up and resolve it and do what it takes to resolve it so that you can get some sleep.
I'd also suggest (Unless you're lactose-intolerant, or something), having a HUGE heaping plate of Mac and cheese about an hour before bed (and wash it down with milk). .

buy some kavakava pills....if not, buy the powder. Make a drink of that and you will sleep like a baby. or try working out a gym a couple hours before you sleep.
if that doesnt help.......count from one million backwards ;-)
