(he is my friend too) and she has him on a tight leash. She says do this and don't do that and he listens. I have never seen him act like this. How long do you think this will last? I want all of your opinions please!

He's whipped. He'll slowly develope a hatred for her and leave her, only to be bitter at the next woman that comes along. He put the woman on too high of a level. Man and woman should be equal. Caring for one another more than themselves. He should dump her and get with you.

Well if he really loves her or is afraid of her it could last for a long time otherwise it will just last till he gets sick of her ****. Have you tried to talk to her about the way that she is acting towards him and telling her that what she is doing is not right. Or try talking to him and tell him that u are sick of the way that she is treating him. Maybe try a group talk and try to get to the bottom of why she is so controlling with him i mean no person should be in control of another persons life i really hope that he snaps out of that phase soon cause it can cause a lot of life long problems i mean that is basically emotional abuse right there and neither of them may realize it

Some guys like that and go that way through life. I'm dead serious, some men are more than happy to let the women control the relationship because it leaves them with less responsiblity.

well, some of us guys like a naggy woman, so it might be just how he likes it. If it isnt in his nature to be like this, it wont last. Are you kind of hoping it will end so you can date him? Rule #1- if you want to keep friends, you dont get in the middle of their relationships, and you dont hook up with their ex's.
On the other hand, I guess it depends on the situation!

either your friend is insecure or her nature is bossy. whatever it is u talk to her in a diplomatic manner and explain the consequences of such behavior that her boyfriend might as well dump her if she continues like this. or ask her boyfriend to talk to her and not give in to her bossism. talking would certainly help.

He might like it my boy friend never takes charge in were we go out or do and tell him what to do and he honestly don't mind.

i sure hope he doesn't let it last long! sounds like she is very controlling and it also sounds abusive! since he is your friend also ,, talk to him and see if you can find out why he would let anyone control him this way!!
