Minimum wage for congressmen is a good proposition because being elected to congress is a patriotic act of a citizen. It really means that a person wants the position because the purpose is to serve the people and not for the salary.

Well, I don't agree with minimum wage but a fair average salarey, not the one they have now where they actually make 10% more when they retire.

Technically, yes, but I believe that would open up more temptations to accept bribes...... It's a catch-22 situation
