Hi
If you suffer with Impulsivity, try not to make any major decisions for at least 24 hrs. Write down the Pro's and Con's of whatever it is you may be thinking of doing. Then look objectively at the list and THEN make your decision. Or, ask others you trust for their input.

If you are Disorganized and can never find things or keep forgetting things, get yourself a DayTimer and carry it with you. Write all the important things down that you need to remember. 2) Always try to keep things in the same place....in other words, have a place for everything, and return things to their proper place. This requires disciplining yourself. Those photo boxes are great for storing things. Write the name of the items on the front of the box, then place all boxes on a shelving unit or inside a closet.

If you make "unwise decisions" and find yourself frequently getting "into trouble", develop the discipline to ask others for their input; leave the car keys at home if going drinking; give your brain the time it needs to bring all past lessons to the front of your brain, so that you remember the consequences of past actions.

Learn meditation.

Good luck. I've raised 3 ADHD kids.
Remember you are loved.
