That would depend on which god. If it were the Christian god: Why do you give us rational minds yet punish us forever in a burning hell simply because we couldn't find good reason to believe in an ancient text.
Why would I ask that: Because the idea that a loving god would send people to hell just for not believing simply doesn't make sense.

Where did you come from?
The answer to this question would tell us if God is the source of all things (including itself) and, if God gave sufficient detail, information about the beginning of the universe.
