Life is safer and you live a lot longer if you actually stay in a house. Wilderness excursions are only fun because they are temporary.
Nature is not sanitary and modern humans are much less resistant to illness and disease than the species once was. When you forget to boil the water and get chronic diarrhea, don't say I didn't warn you.

I don't like bugs...bugs are out in the wild. They come in the house too..but at least there aren't near as many. Central heat and air is nice too.
If you live in the wild...wouldn't you just have to build a primitive box in order to stay out of the rain? Or do you plan on finding a cave somewhere?

Because the natural cathedrals of the wild don't have Ice Cream, or Junior's Cheesecake, or Snickers bars.

Uh.... define box.
The cathedrals of nature are less comfortable/convenient, and their beauty is in the eye of the viewer.
Besides, it isn't a cathedral of nature that's powering your computer, it's a box. Even worse, it's a big series of boxes.
