Depending on your operating system*, you can find out using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. To do this, click on Start, Run, type "dxdiag" (without the quotes) and click OK. On the Direct X Diagnostic Tool, pick the Display tab. Below, it should tell you if Direct3D Acceleration is available. You can click Test Direct3D as well, and if it works, then you have 3D Acceleration on your graphics adapter. In the Notes section, it should tell you any limitations that you may encounter with your 3D accelerator. Also, if you can read this text, you have a video adapter.

Go to Control panel and open system properties click on the hardware tab now click on device manger. In the window that opens select display adapters if you see the name of a card then you have one :) If all else fails get a screwdriver and open your pc box ;) If your monitor is plugged int a card then Yup you got one!

Right click on My Comp icon on desktop n say Manage
You will find hardware details. Take them n search on site say Intel site if motherboard is intel.
