that you will always want what you can't have. Or you have it, lose it.. then want it more? What do you think. I want your opinions.

I think people always want what they can't have when they don't have what is most satisfying to them in the first place. Either that, or people attract what they think they deserve, while they long for what they don't believe they are worthy of having.

I DO believe that people can have absolutely what they want once they are completely aware of why they attract what they don't want.

If you are talking about relationships, I don't think it applies in every case. You have to be careful not to get carried away by those thoughts.

I am in a relationship, which I believe to be, or hope to be for life. I do see a lot of beautiful women on the street and I can't help looking at them, but I don't have any fantasies with other women other than my gf, I just don't dwell on those thoughts.

My grass is always green

I think it is a matter of giving up the chase and being satisfied with what you've got. I'm not there yet, but I've seen enough happy couples to know it must be possible.

Until the comfort and security of what is outweighs the possiblities on the horizon, life will be this way.

I really believe in the whole if you love them let them go if they love you they will come back thing.

It is just a fact of life Hun that you see something and want it whether it be cars money other people what ever it is it always seems to be better UNTIL you get it then you see something else that looks better.

Challenges make things worth going after...If you have everything you want and have nothing to work towards, life is boring.
In the case of a male chasing a female...If the catch is easy he will get bored and move on to a new challenge and vise versa.
If you could go to the same resturant and eat your favorite food everyday, you would get bored wouldnt you? But if you couldnt have that food, doesnt it make you want it even more?

It always seems like life works out that way.
However it is humans who created and believes in these cliches.
Why not change them around to a more positive aspect.
"You always get want you can't have"
"You lose it, you have it, and get it"
Sounds less negative, doesnt it.

The most logical and smartest thing to do when one realizes he or she wants something or someone who is out of their reach or inaccessible to them, for whatever the reason, it to set their goal on attaining something which or someone who IS available to them. Someone who habitually strives to get what is unattainable is always certain to be disappointed and unhappy. If one does not stop this behavior, he or she will learn the difficult way- by experience- that the object of his desire is an obsession instead of a need.

I wanted a guy in high school, bad!! We had mutual friends and hung out numerious times, it just never happened. 11 years later we found each other on the net, he did not even remember me!! We have been married for 4 years and have 2 kids. I think your heart knows more then it tells your brain.

i have gotten things and lost them too soon so wanted them back or similar ones and have gotten some back for a while ...just long enough to enjoy them again and it helped to heal me from the loss.if i have something long enough i get over losing them or needing to give them away. some things i still want to hang onto maybe because they are packed out of my site most of the time. But they are material things and i would much rather have my family members around me than items. There's no trading post for that though
