well..I never saw the movie because I agree with you. I assume you are a 40 year old virgin and you're not married. And for that I applaude you. The world today thinks that sex applys to the "you can't buy a car without test driving it". To me, religion is a big part of my life and the Bible says you shouldn't have sex until you are married. Not very many people get that far nowadays. To me virginity is something valuable. It's very important, something you save for your one and only. So to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with being a 40 year old virgin. Congrats to you.

God bless...

I don't know why getting laid is such a huge thing. Doesn;t anything matter anymore. I lost mine at a young age and I now wish that I had a little more self respect and had waited. . I don't think there is anything wrong with being a virgin, in fact if you save yourself for that special someone, it means more. Sex is so prominent in our lives now, I can't believe whats on tv during the family hours of television time. Those kinds of shows used to be on at 2 in the morning and now smut and violence is on all day. I feel sorry for the youth of today and tomorrow. They will have nothing thatis sacred anymore or any kind of morals and concience if we allow this kind of entertainment to be successful. Sorry, I have rambled on, good for you Bob, hang in there. I hope that you meet someone deserving of your convictions and beliefs. Good luck.

Sex is one of those basic needs and desires of human beings... and all animals. So is eating, and we must sleep too, and excrete as well. Anyway, it's a basic instinct that all "normal" people do and desire to do. I suppose it is assumed that if you have not had sex, something so necessary and fundamental to our biology, then there must be something wrong with you. You somehow do not share the same biological urges as the rest of us. Like an anorexic denies him/herself food, you deny yourself sex... for 25 years in which you reasonably could have been having sex. We definitely think there is something unhealthy about a person not eating... so why shouldn't we question and think a person unhealthy for not having sex.

Also, if no one ever wanted to have sex with you in all of that time, then why are you so undesireable? There are many questions that arise from hearing about a 40 year old virgin. You can't fault people for seeing a biological anomaly and not finding it odd.

That movie was absolutely ridiculous, not to mention NOT FUNNY. I have an aunt who is 50 and is still a virgin because she has never been married. She's very attractive, but this is a choice that she's made and she wants to follow GOD'S commandments. There's nothing wrong with that. Besides you don't miss what you never had.

that's not incorrect in any respect, i'm 17 and fascinated in men of their 40's, i'm with one now, and characteristic been for 7 months, it really is so acceptable, he would not use me, that's like numerous courting no matter when you're older or youthful, its in no way incorrect because in case you extremely like that individual then why not try it. We search for our finished lives searching for the only we adore, and age shouldn't remember, yeah people would stare and communicate, yet they don't look to be those in the courting, its the way you 2 act. good success Hun :)

There is nothing wrong with it. It gives you more time to understand what is really going on with your life. If you've waited that long and want to have sex find the right person. I like the movie. The point is he was waiting for the right woman and it turned out great for him.

Well you are missing out on one of most pleasurable things in life! That's whats wrong with it?!! I think the longer you wait, the more you lose in confidence. Maybe you need to go to a self esteem course before you start dating then if all goes well, date and have sex before your dick turns to dust!

P.S. I have a feeling you are just being a smart *** though... and this is all just a load of crap.

Nothing. People have an abnormal obsession with the dating lives, sexual lives, and love lives....of OTHER people. People tend to base assumptions about someone's sexual orientation based on their success, or failure in the dating world. (I don't date much, and have been asked If I am gay.) People want to decide what is "normal" or "abnormal" about a person, based upon who've they've dated, how many people they've dated, how many people they've slept with, or who they've slept with.(If you're not dating someone, the most common question about you is "what's wrong with him?")

I think it's pretty sad, and/or stupid when people base the value of another person not upon who they are, but instead, of who they are or are not dating.
