Well you spoke your mind didn't you? Judgmental?
First of all NOT all Christians are as your listed. Realize that your are stereotyping everyone by the actions of those who aren't living right with God.
Priest are generally in the Catholic religion and Southern Baptist wouldn't allow a Church leader to be a leader if they were gay.
Living and having sex without getting married is a choice that some people make. It's not what God wants in life for His children. (Bible based)
We don't allow gay marriages. Have you not been watching the news and seeing how Christians are fighting this issue?
Teenagers: just like adults being rude to one another teens are human and make choices. If a parent disciplines their child then the rude attitude will not exist. Calling by first name? That's a new one on me.
Women dress attire: A woman should dress in covering her body. God doesn't want us to reveal our bodies to others. Adam and Eve knew this in the Garden of Eden. People make choices.
Priest and Nuns...Catholic again.
I don't think that Christians have called ourselves "PERFECT" for we know there was/is only one perfect person who walked this Earth and that was Jesus Christ.
I'm awake...you need to wake up and stop bashing others when you don't have your facts straight.

I think that you bring up some very good questions. However, I also think that you are looking at the outcome rather than the cause or reason. To fully understand, you must keep an open mind about religion and realize that although there are bad seeds in every religion, culture, etc., it does by no means represent the community as a whole.
1) As for the priests, there is not an epidemic as some would say, but a FEW extremely popular cases sensationalized by the media. There is no excuse for these mens' behavior at all, and every case has been thoroughly investigated. One thing that can happen is that there are some men who join the priesthood or become ministers because they have been brought up Christian. Some of these men who in their life discover that they are homosexual may be embarrassed or afraid to come out. Instead, some of these men enter the clergy, which of course is wrong because the way to solve a problem is not to run from it. After years, it can eat at them inside, and maybe they have urges that they find hard to control. I cannot explain what their situation is, and I don't condone it one bit. However, it is not a "Christian" thing. There are also non-Christians that become Christian clergy for fear of coming out, as well.
2) The issue with disrespect by children in households is a common American problem. By being Christian, we do not automatically have perfect lives without the influence of amoral values, and children being impressionable as they are, and with the steady influx of pop culture there will be kids that will rebel. Not just Christian kids, but kids from ALL backgrounds.
3) I do not know of Christian women being particularly bare when it comes to clothing. However, your phrase "allow your women" would imply that we should have control over one another. This goes against one of the funamental truths of Christianity: Free Will. Over all, there are non practicing Christians, non Christians, Athiests, Muslims, Jewish people, etc. Each and every person on earth has free will to decide whether and what God they believe in. It seems obvious to me that you do not have a religion based on your sarcastic questions above, but be assured that the previous problems you have mentioned are much more prevalent in a non-religious society than a religious one. The only difference is that it isn't portrayed with almost childlike glee by reporters as it is when tragedies happen in the Christian faith. Why? Because it happens every day, it isn't news to anyone.
4.) I know that many Christian religions allow their ministers/clergy members to marry. In the Catholic tradition, men who are already ordained cannot marry. However, if a married man wishes to become a priest he is allowed to do so. But the reason for this is because Catholics believe that a man who enters the priesthood is devoting his life to God, and not to the flesh. This is a sacrifice for any man who enters the clergy, but it is taken on with solemnity and seriousness. Some men feel that they are called to serve their church, and that is a noble aspiration to want to spend your life serving God. It doesn't do any good to insult priests because they cannot marry, rather you should respect them for making the sacrifice.

Nice questions, wake up christians, look at what we have shown to others. I think christianity cannot be compared to some black sheep within the fold, not everyone of us like that. I am a Protestant Christian and not a Catholic, therefore, even if it was either a protestant or a catholic who did it, they are no christian as they do not follow the steps of Jesus Christ or the early apostelic church.
Christianity is not a religion in a small term, but a relationship between a Father and his children, a father calling out for his children to come back home. There are still some of us left, who do not prey on children, are not gays, do not get involved in pre-marital sex, were not wild teenagers, nor rude or kill our parents, do not dress in an inappropriate manner, do get married and have children and pass the knowledge of Christ to othes.

Do I sense a tad bit anger?
You are right in asking these questions. I want to tell you that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, as you have seen, we are not perfect, as a matter of fact we have made some big, ugly mistakes that puts a huge black dot on our faith. But it is because of what Jesus did 2000 years ago that we are forgiven for our willful sins. When God created us, he gave a free will to choose right and wrong. If we truly loved him with all our heart we would take our relationship with him more seriously. And live more of a pure and holy lifestyle. And all those issues that you stated would not be a problem with our faith. God will not choose for us, nor will he force us to do right. You are right in stating that we are not living the way we should. But don't be angry at God or the few true Christians that live good, decent, righteous life every single day. There are Christians who have never done anything you have stated above and they should be applauded. There are many Christians who are angry with the gay marriages, fornication, child molestations and so forth. We would completely agree with what you are saying. Unfortunately, it is the fallen Christians that gives Christianity a bad name - I'm so sorry. I want you to remember something - when you stand before Jesus on Judgment day - he will not be asking about other people's hyprocrisy. He will be asking why didn't you accept him. No pointing fingers. Don't let what other bad Christians have done to separate you from God and what you know in your heart is right. By the way I'm not proud of my religion, because the price Jesus paid on the cross to set me free was horrendous. I'm proud that my name is written in the Book of Life.

I think you should change the word from "Christians" to "Catholics" because catholics do not allow their priests or nun to get married. Being a Catholic, I have some thing to say you:
No one in the World is perfect- name it Christian's, Muslims, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Confusion, American, Europian, Asian, African -- anything.
Nowadays, people have own issues more to setlle. Like Social status, money, family, job, kids etc.. Some people believe that it's their duty to be in perfect life and they work hard. They keep their children in a perfect way. They keep their family happy. Priests from these kind of families normally do not go beyond the limitation of the Church. But still priests are also human beings and can be listen to the Evil. Let us forgive them because it's not in the Priests but in the God we trust and believe.
About Kids: Kids coming from a well behaved family can not be rude or will not call their parents with first name. The lives of the
parents make their kids behaviour towards the world. Kids who received enough love and care from the parents show same attitudes towards others.
It's the fashion trend, money and media make most of the the women crazy. Well dressed doesn't mean shd show up their body. A woman should understand herself what shd best suite to her. Christianity gives total freedom to the followers but never advised to show women's body.
Chiristianity is a religion of love and give-up even though most of the modern society and it's heads do not understand that. Accoridng to Jesus "if some one give up everything can only follow me". So, Catholics do not allow their priests or nuns to get married because they have given up all from the material world and following only his/her master.
History and religion says Jesus is the only one said "I am Son of God" and also died for the world. No body else claimed such.
SO WAKE UP AND CHANGE YOUR MIND
I WILL PRAY FOR YOU!

I think that you are stereotyping Christians and grouping them all together. First of all, only one denomination of christianity has priests and nuns that cant get married-catholicism. And not everyone has disobedient children or live with people and have sex before marriage. Nor do christians claim that they are perfect. Its a religion based on the idea that everyone is a sinner and that no one is perfect.

Because sin is a cancer that exists in the spirit of man. The difference is that true Christians know this and try to lead a pure life, asking for forgiveness when they fall from grace. Non-Christians do not believe in sin and live their life accordingly. I can call myself a horse all day long, but that doesn't mean I'm a horse. A person can call themselves a Christian all they want, but if they're molesting kids or sanctioning abortion or acting out homosexual impulses, they are no more Christian than I am a horse.

It seems that you are judging Jesus by what some people who lived 2000 years later did with his words.
I don't know if this answers your question or not, but one of the main reasons that I believe in Christianity is that the people who knew Jesus were willing to be tortured to death rather than change their story that they saw Jesus return from the dead.
If the apostles were lying about seeing the resurrected Christ, then why didn't they take back their story when they were individually being tortured to death? Every one of the apostles (Except John, who died a natural death in exile on Patmos), were killed for their faith. Wouldn't a liar recant this story to save his own life?
What did the apostles have to gain by making it all up? What good does fame do for a dead person?
I accept the apostles' story because the witnesses were creditable.

You are clumping all christian religions together. Not all have nuns, or allow gay marriage, condone premarital sex. There is some good in all religions. I don't think most of us are saying our religion is perfect and you have to remember that it is individual people that make up a church and no one is perfect, not even you. So stop your hate bashing. I do not think your God would want you to spread hate, I know mine doesn't.
