Christ didn't come as people imagined He would. They imagined He would come like a king with lots of pomp and circumstance to save them from Roman rule, and instead He came in a lowly birth in a remote, poor manger.
He taught in parables so that men would think about His words. He died like thousands of other criminals in the manner prescribed by laws of that time.
His life was His sign. The things that happened when He died were signs. Why do you think there was a thunderstorm and an earthquake seconds after He died?
He left His imprint in hearts and His words were passed on.
I do not think that anyone's faith is wrong.
Faith in the true sense of the word can't be a wrong thing.
In fact, Jesus said:Go and find the meaning of the words"What I want is mercy, not sacrifice' ".
BTW have you seen the Shroud of Turin? Lately, pollens on it have been identified as trees and flowers that only grow in the area where he lived.
But if the shroud was not real, I would still have faith. I know that in some way I am connected to Christ.
Men make up some fake religions, but faith in God is a choice. It's private.

I don't know if this answers your question or not, but one of the main reasons that I believe in Christianity is that the people who knew Jesus were willing to be tortured to death rather than change their story that they saw Jesus return from the dead.
If the apostles were lying about seeing the resurrected Christ, then why didn't they take back their story when they were individually being tortured to death? Every one of the apostles (Except John, who died a natural death in exile on Patmos), were killed for their faith. Wouldn't a liar recant this story to save his own life?
What did the apostles have to gain by making it all up? What good does fame do for a dead person?
I accept the apostles' story because the witnesses were creditable.
Why not appear to more people? Are not 500 people at one time (as Paul claimed) enough? How many would it take to satisify you? Apparently, none, since you have decided already not to believe.

Though only the eleven apostles are named in Matthew's account (Mt 28:16), the fact of an `appointment' for a definite time and place ("the mountain"), and the terms in which the message was given to the "disciples," suggests a collective gathering such as is implied in Paul's "above five hundred brethren at once" (1Cor 15:6). The company being assembled, Jesus appeared; still, at first, with that element of mystery in His appearance, which led some to doubt (Mt 28:17). Such doubt would speedily vanish when the Lord, announcing Himself as clothed with all authority in heaven and earth, gave to the apostles the supreme commission to "make disciples of all the nations" (Mt 28:18-20; compare Mk 16:15, "Go ye into all tho world" etc.). Discipleship was to be shown by baptism "into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (one name, yet threefold), and was to be followed by instruction in Christ's commands. Behind the commission, world-wide in its scope, and binding on every age, stands the word of never-failing encouragement, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Doubts of the genuineness of these august utterances go as a rule with doubt of the resurrection itself.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[1][[3] Or you at the first]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Peter,[2][[5] Greek Cephas] and then to the Twelve.
6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.
7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
500 people hardly seems insignificant. That's a REALLY large crowd for anyone to hush, or buy off. Surely SOME of them could have come out and said, "Hey wait a minute, I was there and THAT didn't happen!" Alas, none did.

1 He acsended into heaven
2 Man is saved by grace through faith
3 Faith is the evidence of things unseen
4 Faith is shown when we believe without seeing
5 stiffnecked and idol seeking people want signs
6 His resurection was witnessed by people and never disproven
7 He can't make us love him, then it wouldn't be true love,
8 we love Him because He first loved us
9 a greater love hath no man than this that he should lay his life down for his friend
10 no other religion garauntees salvation in this way and if if you give it a chance that the creator would take your place and rescue you from a position that many dissenters claim is God's fault in the first place then He covered it didn't He?
all that is required is that you believe, now its back in your court
11 what will you do with this man called Christ?
12 for whosoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

Firstly, it called freewill. I dont think that we tell the whole world that our faith is the best. we go out their and preach the gospel. that has been our mission ever since Jesus ressurected. He went back to God's right hand. Thats figuratively speaking of course. Thats what our faith tells us and thats wat is written in the scriptures.
I dnt know if you read some of the miracles that had happend during the last 300 years or so. If you did, you will be able to read some stories about saints who saw Jesus, Mary, and some of the angels of God. Now, if you want to debate on which religion is best, for me as a Christian, it really depends on you. if you like hinduism, fine. But just dont mock our faith. We respect yours and please respect ours.
hope that answers your question.

it kinda worked, though, didn't it. I mean if you were a gambling man you would not have put a scheckle on betting that a man from a small province who ( like you say ) only revealed himself to a few hundred people would inspire a movement that would take ovr the Roman Empire and become the world most dominant religion within a few hundred years. Pretty good going by any standards. Can any other religion make such a claim ?

Over 500 witnesses saw Jesus after the resurrection and the the account was written down. There are no historical refutations of that written account. If it could have been refuted then surely there would be at least one historical written refutation. Much more credible than some rock formation wouldn't you say?

He was on earth for 40 days and nights. Many many people witnessed Him, and He left behind proof, His 11 Apostles who in turn wrote the books of the New Testament

Uh, He went to be with the father to prepare a place for us..
How many miracles do you need.?There are over 600 writings (non religious) that make note of his miracles. They did keep court records and census and such.. Archeology has proven several details of the Bible. God ALLOWS us to live and make choices. We have free will to accept or not. he doesn`t FORCE anyone to be his. If you don`t love him, That is fine.. He loves You. You are the one who has to live with the choices you make.. It will break his heart to lose one of his kids, But he doesn`t want you IF you don`t want him.. If you want him, his arms are wide and waiting to accept you. If not, YOUR loss...
Now, Why did you ask this question? What is your point? You are just stirring up anger and hate. Stop it... There is plenty to go around now..
God bless & Hugs from Texas. {:-)
