Whats better is ibuprofen, but be carefull long term use can cause Tinnitus which means a Ringing , high pitch buzz in your ears. Also try something like Robaxacette, strange but true.

anything with ibuprofen, like Advil. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory. So anything that has that will help. Was in a motorcycle accident, with multiple injuries couple years ago, with ALOT of broken bones etc. So I know pain and have searched everywhere and tried everything, of course prescription are the best and most powerful. Or you can also try an over the counter called Percogesic. That worked pretty good for me. Good luck.

Aspirin or acetylsalicylic acid (acetosal) is a drug in the family of salicylates, often used as an analgesic (against minor pains and aches), antipyretic (against fever), and anti-inflammatory. It has also an anticoagulant ("blood-thinning") effect and is used in long-term low-doses to prevent heart attacks.

Low-dose long-term aspirin irreversibly blocks formation of thromboxane A2 in platelets, producing an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation, and this blood-thinning property makes it useful for reducing the incidence of heart attacks. Aspirin produced for this purpose often comes in 75 or 81 mg dispersible tablets and is sometimes called “Junior aspirin”. High doses of aspirin are also given immediately after an acute heart attack. These doses may also inhibit the synthesis of prothrombin and may therefore produce a second and different anticoagulant effect.

Several hundred fatal overdoses of aspirin occur annually, but the vast majority of its uses are beneficial. Its primary undesirable side effects, especially in stronger doses, are gastrointestinal distress (including ulcers and stomach bleeding) and tinnitus. Another side effect, due to its anticoagulant properties, is increased bleeding in menstruating women. Because there appears to be a connection between aspirin and Reye's syndrome, aspirin is no longer used to control flu-like symptoms in minors.

Aspirin was the first discovered member of the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), not all of which are salicylates, though they all have similar effects and a similar action mechanism.

Aspirin is good but if you need a lot it could damage your stomache. Try Naproxen, Aleve is one brand name. Very similar to celebrex but OTC and generics are cheap. Also get stuff to rub into the joints like aspracream or tiger balm arthrits care.

Aspirin is an anti inflammatory drug but you must be careful. As with any anti inflammatory, side effects like Duodenal or Gastric Ulcers can occur after long term use, Therefore you need to cover yourself by taking Omeprazole or something close to that which is available to you there.
Keep monitored by your doctor though ok :)

Use ibuprofen (Motrin)...

...maybe it's a blessing in disguise that you can't afford the Celebrex - that stuff is a Cox-2 inhibitor similar to Vioxx and has been proven to cause heart attacks in people.

aspirin works, but don't take too much. you might also want to try Advil or Alleve. I have R.A. and I can't take any of those nor can I take Celebrex so I use prescription pain relievers. Loratab works great, you just have to get use to it before it won't put you to sleep.

I think Asprin is a pain killer. Or in some circumstances, meant for people with heart attack to thin their blood so as to reduce blood clog in the ateries.
For anti-inflammation, try brufen.
