Sorry you have panic attacks. I've had anxiety disorder with panic attacks since I was 12 (now 25). I think that creepy crawly comes from your body temperature shooting up so suddenly. My muscles tense up and get stiff so maybe that has something to do with it also. I'm on Zoloft now though and it works miracles.
P.S. Deep breathing exercises help a lot too!!

Anxiety is associated with increased secretion of Adrenalin which increases the sensitivity. Even the wrist watch worn feels like a new rough thing touching the skin of wrist.

I get that all the time! I thought I was the only one. I'm interested to see what the other answers are. GOD, that feeling is sooo scary. But for me, the extra layer of skin makes me feel numb to touch. I hope you get some good answers, but I'm sorry I can't help you. I've researched it a little bit, but couldn't find anything.

I have panic/anxiety attacks. I have had strange sensations on my skin like hairs standing up or something maybe crawling. I've never had quite the same thing you seem to be talking about though.

It's just a symptom that comes with anxiety. If you get it bad enough there's meds for it. And it works well. Talk to your doctor
