when you see someone you find attractive or someone you want to talk to, do you look at the person at all? or do you look at the person with a smile? or do you just look at the person without expression?
i want to know how the shy ones would look like

It depends... I was much shyer when I was younger, and a lot of it depends on the age. For a younger shy girl (maybe like up to the age of 14 or so), she probably wouldn't look at the guy she likes. Or she might look at the guy and then look away really quickly. She might also have a silly smile on her face, or laugh a lot at weird things when he's around. If she's a little older, she might try to look at him more often, or talk to him every once in a while. If she tries to talk to him, she might just say silly little things rather than try to carry on a conversation.
It sounds like you might be talking about someone in particular, and you're kind of curious if she likes you...? If that's the case, try talking to her, if you can. Give her a compliment and see how she reacts.

I am shy. I look for a short time, smile, or just hope you will do something. It is the guys job to approach a girl. I don't like to be rejected.

Well i used to be REALLY shy (not shy at all now) when i liked a guy then i would casually find a way to at least say excuse me that way i could make eye contact with a small smile (which my husband calls a tilted grin) humm that's the way i met him lol.
