Matthew 10

5These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. 7As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near

As I look around I see that this has clearly been revoked. So I want to know who had the power to overide a command from the son of God?

for those quoteing acts that was the work of Paul. Could he overide Jesus? you basicly have to have blind faith that he had a vision of him! I came and told you I had a vision of Jesus and he said we should now do so and so would you belive me? So why should anyone belive paul?

What about later in Matthew?

"This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
"Behold, my servant whom I have chosen;
My beloved in whom my soul is well-pleased;
I will put my spirit upon him,
And he shall proclaim justice to the gentiles.
"He will not quarrel, nor cry out;
Nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.
"A bettered reed he will not break off,
And a smoldering wick he will not put out,
Until he leads justice to victory.
"And in his name the gentiles will hope." (Matthew 12:17-21)

What can this story about a Canaanite woman tell us?
"Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon. And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, 'Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed.'

But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, 'Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us.'

But He answered and said, 'I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.'

But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, 'Lord, help me!'

And He answered and said, 'It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.'

But she said, 'Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.'

Then Jesus said to her, 'O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish.' And her daughter was healed at once." (Matthew 15:21-28)

This shows us that Jesus will help those who believe in Him. No one is a Jew by birth, but one by faith. Paul knew this when he wrote..."For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God." (Romans 2:28-29) The woman became a Jew reguardless because of her faith. In Romans it also says that believers are grafted into the tree of life, it doesn't matter whether they are Jew or Gentile.

You have to be kidding right! You really think that Messiah's lineage came through Joseph? Joseph had nothing to do genetically with the child. Except maybe to moisten a cloth to wipe his face. Mary is the carrier, the Ark of the Covenant, blessed among all women because she carried the genetically perfect egg from the rib of Adam. Think man! Every woman is born with the exact number of eggs she is ever going to have, and those eggs are present in the mother’s line. I know you may have a hard time grasping that far down to the atomic level but it's the ONLY WAY. Mary could not have been a virgin if God had sex with her. It doesn't matter who had sex with her, she would not be a virgin if she had sex.... I know this is off topic from your question and I won't take up much more of your time as I now answer the question whose topic this is.

The Apostles that were charged at the time did not go (purposefully) to anyone other then the "Lost Sheep of Israel". Yeshua then gave the command as he was ascending into heaven to; Go into all the world and preach the good news to all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. Lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the age. Yeshua purposefully chose Saul of Tarsus to be the replacement of Judas. Saul’s conversion and subsequent change to Paul was designed to bring a Gamalielian taught student into the world of the gentile to preach the gospel. Paul had the unique gift of knowing the Hebrew Scriptures better then the other 11 Apostles.

BTW
Has the command to "Be fruitful and multiply" been revoked? All those Xian's out there getting fixed (I would rather call it broken) or IUD's and other forms of contraception. The Pill, which is flooding our coastal waters with chemicals that are changing the sex of the fish in the water. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=396612&in_page_id=1770
Men having their testicular sacs cut open and their issue blocked.
ABORTION. Hmmmm Was this ever the intent of be fruitful and multiply? Does the Xian today have the right to override God's command in the garden?

Oh, you mean you didn't read Acts 1:8 or Matthew 24:14? How about Romans 10:18?

Jesus went first to the house of Israel, then to Samaria, who were related to the Israelites. They heard the message first due to God's promise to Abraham. Later, as Acts mentioned, the entire earth would become a field for harvesting. This is being done fully only by one religion.

By the way, what's the point you are trying to make? And by saying that the book of Acts is incorrect, are you saying you don't agree with the Bible? Oh, and by the way, Acts 1:8 and Matthew 24:14 were before Paul ever came along.

Matthew wrote the gospel to prove to the Jews that Jesus was the king of the Jews. The disciples were instructed to first declare the gospel to the Jews, then outwardly to the Gentiles, which is seen in the book of Luke. Hope that helps!

You have to read the whole bible to understand it, not just a little here and there. If you read further you will find that after he arose from the dead he went to the disciples and told them -Matthew 28:19-20- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching whom to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

No. This command was given to the twelve (11?) Apostles specifically.

He already had a plan to send Paul to the Gentiles. And the rest of us, too.

The Son of God... what about Mark 16:9-20- after He rose from the dead....
9When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. 10She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. 11When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.

12Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country. 13These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.

14Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

What about Matt. 26:16-20?
16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
