why do Muslims always get in wars and kill people?

Did you know that every war in the world right now is muslims killing non muslims or muslims killing eachother?
So much for the religion of peace....
Im not trying to be predjudice, but im am not saying anything un truthful
In africa muslims are killing people just because there not muslims
And in the muslims Torran thing it says "Kill the infedels" thats was on the news

Think about this, pretty much every war started before 1960, lets say, was started by Europeans? The crusades were christian attacks on muslim held lands. WWI was started by serbs, WWII was started by a german, Chechnya, Vietnam, Korea, 100 years war, American Revolution, American Civil War... the list goes on. sure there were conflcts caused by muslims and they undoubtedly fought in many of those wars but Europeans and americans love to blow things up. It's the imperialists in us. It's only recent times that muslims have started blowing themselves up as some sick sort of violent protest. And even then it's a minority of muslims ruining the religion for everyone else. Odds are I've got some facts horribly skewed but the idea is that muslims are not the uber warlike barbarians that the media seems to portray them as, and that historically Europeans and christians have been just as loving of killing eachother if not moreso.

The Koran says that a muslim should attempt to convert infadels and does support the idea of jihad, but not an outright "BLOW UP EVERYTHING FOR VIRGINS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" sensationalist/fundamentalist portrayal. Muslims are expected to act as brothers towards fellow muslims and at least have kinship with all monotheistic religions of the world because they worship the same god. It's the fundamentalist literalist assholes who think that the only way to appease Yahweh is to kill everone not a muslim.

I really don't think its because of their religion. Its the people who govern them (just like the not muslims' case). But if you consider that, maybe it does take a little part somehow. These people are different from us and we other people dont understnd that most of the time. So we get angry at them and do things that they do not like and we also get in their way too much sometimes thats why they get mad at us then a war starts. only if people would try to see and understand each others' differences then maybe there would be peace afterall.

good question boboy.... my answer is maybe Muslim felt that there a lot injustice done to them .. like ..Palestine,Lebanon,Iraq,Chechnya,Southern Thailand,Southern Philippines :- note that all this places are where Muslims is being occupied or discriminated against.
In Africa (Somalia) its not about reliogion .. but more of the ethnic thing. .... hmmm where else
ohh then all this spill over to back where its originates .. USA,Britain,Israel etc.
But i'm not saying everything done is OK in fact its totally wrong and they play it into the hands of the enemy - both ways ..
just that we should read and see things from the roots.... and remember that once the scourge of the world are the Communist but now , 20-30 years later look what happen.?

Here is the honest truth...

Because their prophet, Muhammad, commands that they do. Muhammad instructed his people to strike fear and terror in the hearts of non-believers by sanctioning violence so brutal and barbaric, that non-believers would cower and convert. They would give up their faiths, their riches, their women, anything to avoid being butchered. And most times that didn't stop them from being killed anyway. There is also a great power in portraying yourself as a victim and seeking revenge for alleged injustices all the time. They have been able to play that game for centuries and get away with it. Opposition to their tactics is viewed as persecution and the followers are whipped into a frenzy, determined to destroy those who oppose them. They are a brutal and barbaric group whose prophet instructs them to behave this way.

Also, those who answer this question by pointing out faults in Christianity are simply avoiding your question.

There is a simple way for you to judge these things. People who do bad things in the name of Christianity are going against the teachings of Jesus Christ and are not Christians even though they may call themselves Christian. People who do bad things in the name of Islam are following the instructions handed down by Muhammad himself, as you can read in the Koran and Hadiths.

And finally, you might hear a lot of ignorant people talking about the Crusades. Do yourself a favor and do your own research. You will find the truth about the Crusades and it will help clarify Christian history in the middle ages and Islamic history in the middle ages. From the time of Muhammad's life to present day, you will find a steady history of aggressiveness, conquest, forceful conversion, brutality, and slaughter of innocent lives by the followers of the "religion of peace"

You forget the Moaists in Nepal, and wars in Congo, I honestly think what you are seeing now is a result of different countries meddling in the affairs of the Middle East, and now its pay back time, legitimately or not. The Israeli's, the Russian's in Afghanistan, the British in the early part of the 20th century. And the United states through it all.

we have been in a religious war for over thousands of years... i know for a fact some moslems aren't bad nor are they terrorists (i've got some friends who are moslems). however some sects in the moslem religion becomes too much fanatical and too blinded in their quest for their religious beliefs to be recognized, thus creating this notion that Islam religion is bad & evil; and that Moslems are terrorists who just go out and kill people.
