I read somewhere that you were born to your parents for a particular reason. Do you know the purpose why you were born to your own parents?

I feel that my higher self (super-consciousness?) chose the people that I was born from because it offered the highest possibilities to learn what I needed to learn. I'm not sure what exactly I needed to learn so much, but I can say that the way that I was raised prepared me very well for this life.

This is your destiny. Kind of repayment of your debt in your last life. If you want more details, read up about 3 lives (past, future & present). Some belief that it is a punishment to reborn as a human being but it is better than being an animal. To be what you are now, depend on what you have done in your past life.

OMG This is from ask Jeeves for kids ... i hope it helps

The reproduction system uses the process of producing a new generation to continue the existence of the species by the fusion of two cells from different individuals; this is achieved in humans by the fusion of one sperm and one ovum (egg). This fusion is called "fertilization" and is achieved by sexual intercourse between a male and female or by artificial insemination. The male body is designed to allow the manufacture, storage and transfer of male sex cells (or sperm). The female body is designed to manufacture, store and release eggs (ova). The creation of human life is a miracle to behold as two tiny cells - the sperm and the ovum - fuse to form a new cell which, after fertilization, resides in the female womb. Nine months later, a fully- formed, breathing, living human being in tiny replica is born.

Don't believe everything you read. There is nothing special about your parents unless they make it that way in how they raise you. If they choose to be royal screw ups then that's their choice. There is no cosmic reason. I think the view that our parents were chosen for us is very unsympathetic to those that were abused and abandoned as children.

Yes, the particular reason is they had sex and nine months later I came along. There's only one reason and that's it! Oh, and the purpose was because they needed someone to wash the dishes, clean the house, and leave their money to when they die.

My wonderful, beautiful Mother once told me that we make a choice to be here. And that we are here for a reason. Ever heard of the Seth books or Edger Casry?

I was born to my parents because of their love for one another. My mother always said I was conceived the week that her mother died and I was born to lighten her heart and help her to smile again.

My biological parents had sex in their teens without using protection...then decided not to abort, putting me up for adoption instead...that's why I have the parents I have and why I was born.

i read that you choose your parents and your family and other important people in your life because your soul knows that they will help you achieve your soul's goal in this lifetime. The whole theory depends on how much you believe in reincarnation and things of that sort.

I was born to my parents because my dad's sperm made its way to my mom's egg. Thus, I was created. There's really no other big answer.
