Since this is in the 'Religious' section, I presume you don't just want an unreligiously aided opinion.
In the bible, it suggests that God's ideal is for a man to be the husband of one wife. It says nothing of a man-man or woman-woman marriage -- Nothing for or against it.
Some people claim to have been 'born the wrong gender', yet according to the bible, God makes no mistakes.
And truthfully, Princess Diana did have every right to die... As much as she had to live. "Rights" are the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled.

Of course she has the right to, just like I have the right to jump off a building.. of course I don't want to.. but techincally gay people are sinners because they are not attracted to the opposite sex, something they can't control. Religious people should really back off, because the gays don't effect them, and they should be happy that heaven isn't being crowded HAHA. Sorry, I just think it's funny how they get so worked up over something that has nothing to do with them, unless they're son or daughter is gay..

I think more like she didn't have the right to die in the car accident. SHe didn't have any say in the matter it just happened to her. Gay people aren't sinners because they chose to be gay they just are?

No. The gay person is a sinner just like everyone else. One must repent from sin and beg forgiveness for the sins that are committed. The act of homosexuality is the sin.

There are some weak scriptural references to homosexuality being a sin.

Here is a link so you can determine for yourself what the scripture is saying. It is from the LDS site but is the King James version of the bible on most references (a common bible), others are from Mormon texts that you may disregard if you wish:

BTW, I am an atheist so I am a pretty neutral source of data.
