The bible says that Jesus was Jewish, which means he could've been any complexion of color actually. Most white people don't consider Jewish people white, so I'm puzzled as to why we would call Jesus white. By the way, I am Christian. Please, don't crowd me with your insults, just answer the question with your opinion.

Jesus was not a white, but a person of Middle Eastern descent. Perhaps of a wheatish complex or may be even brown because of the hot weather conditions and with Jesus ministries, he should have been tanned along the way. I think, mostly Westerners on embracing Christianity began to give a delusion, Jesus was from the West, especially after the Crusades, wherein it was Europe who fought these wars for Christianity. This could have led to a popular myth that Jesus was white and from the Western world or christianity was a religion for the western people. In India, Hinduism is predominantly looked as a religion for Indians, Islam for people from the Arab countries as they propogate and stand for the believes. Since Rome was believed to been a strong base for post apostelic ministry christians and with the emergence of the Catholic church and her dominion over the masses, this belief could have been spread.

No insults, you are correct. Whether people want to believe it or not, Jesus was a Jew from the Middle East, therefore, he would have the coloring and features of a Middle Eastern person. Jesus would not have looked like the pictures we see today that were painted by mostly White Europeans.

Jesus Christ is from the line of Ha-Adam. Ha-Adam is The Man. The man created on the eight day. He is not from the sixth day creation where God created both man and womb-man, woman.

Adam means red earth or ruddy complected. Another way of saying red in the face.

All I can say to try to answer your question is that most people are too lazy to study the Bible and or the Scriptures to know the truth. If they knew, then they would need to make a decision one way or another.><>

Once the Western world accepted Christianity as their religion and Christ as their saviour they felt that the Jews were the cause of his death. To distinguish Jesus from the Jews thay changed Jesus to a Western figure. This was also done to create a hatred for the Jews who then were considered to be subhuman because they killed the son of God.

I dont say he was white.
Artists usually depiscted Jesus, angels, etc, with the same facial features, coloring as their own race, they used real people as models and thats how they depiceted him.
