Has anyone ever told you, you stop breathing for long periods of time while you sleep? Do you snore very, very loud? If so, you might have what's called Sleep Apnea. I had it until recent, it's when the tonsils/adenoids in your throat collapse causing you not to breath, which in turn causes you to choke in your sleep amongst other things. The reason you might be feeling tired is because while everybody else rests at night. Your body is working hard even while sleeping. The reason is because your brain is telling your body to breath because your tonsils/adenoids (also in your throat) are choking you causing your body to work hard to breath all night. Your body never really rests because it has been working all night long. So, in turn you wake up groggy, tired with no energy to excercise or do anything at all. Can you sleep for example from 4 pm until 9pm no problem but feel very groggy, weak and lazy when you do get up? You might be a case. Don't mean to scare you, but it's worth getting checked out. I did it, I kid you not kid, I'm a completely new and energized 28 year old. There is no reason you should be lazy at half my age. Good-luck!

Well first you have to eliminate whether there is an obvious underlying medical condition. You need to go to your family doctor and get a full workup.

If it comes back "normal" and you are still not feeling normal, then one of the possible..and elusive diagnosis might be "Chronic fatique syndrom". Unfortunately, not many physicians can diagnose this condition because they have not seen enough patients with that. But since both of my sisters have this condition as adults, I am well aware of it. One of the best current articles on this has been written very recently in a weekly news magazine called "Science News" issue July 1, 2006 , on page 10. The title of the article is "A vexing enigma....new insights confront chronic fatigue syndrome". Your public library probably has this magazine. I suggest you start there. Good luck, Ron

im sorry i always have to write long answers but i dont think i can help you out in this one, but i would kind of suggest you can go to a doctor or maybe wake up early in the morning because you start fresh and it feels more good when you wake up and get dressed and get a breakfast, start your day early. go to the gym, run, excersise. i dont knw something that will keep you busy, but not things like tv computer or video games because those things really make you more tired then you are.

take care

Exercise, drink lots of water. Sleep on the same time every day. Write down things to accomplish like running 5 miles, finishing a book, helping someone in need. You have to have something to be passionate about.

When you wake up eat something healthy and hearty but not too much, a small handful of anything should do the trick to wake you up. Go for a run and if you want take a quick nap, get up and go swimming or lift weights. Occupy your mind and you won't be so tired.

Getting outside and moving around may actually boost your energy. Eat better foods, drink more water, ditch the soda. You know the drill. But your body is tired a lot probably because of the hormones due to puberty. It wil pass.

a little bit of exercise. even 15mins a day is worth it. first time's the hardest. morning or before you eat. some stretching (aerobics) then some home exercise (pushups, pullups, seated dips, etc), a run around the park if you can. make sure you eating right too, smaller portions but more meals or snacks. try powerade along with your exercises. if you too lazy to exercise, walk around more or play some outdoor sport.

You can actually oversleep... which you may be doing. Try going to bed at the same time each night and get around 8 hours sleep.

Eat healthy and try to exercise regularly as this will help you to feel more awake.

Is your dietary intake a good one? Diet plays a big role in the energy department, carbs and protein in the diet essential for energy.
Have you been to your doctor? It could be something is happening that needs looking at. Diabetes for instance..do not panic, just get a check up ok :)

BS"D

there are many reasons why one can be tired.

1. clogged liver? eat lots of veges, lemon water, in general clean up your diet big time.
2. adrenal glands weak? get some herbs to perk it up.
3. stressed? get to bed earlier, B vitamins.
4. candida?
5. should go to the doc for a check up of course, are you iron deficient. (if dr. gives you an iron supplement - careful, if it constipates, that is even a bigger problem, SOLGAR MAKES "GENTLE IRON"
maxi health makes a good iron supplement in liquid form
