I just found out that I have to have my upper jaw broke and moved down and forward. I am terrified. I have cried off and on since I found out (yesterday). I've had several surgeries so the thought of surgery is not the issue. It's the type of surgery, the pain I'm expecting, as well as the fact that I weigh under 90 lbs. Can't imagine what will happen if I can only have liquids for 6+ weeks. If anyone has had this surgery I would love to talk to you. Thanks.

My daughter had this surgery and stop worrying so. It is NOT that bad! My daughter had the identical surgery you are having. You won't lose great masses of weight. I have a generic e-mail address that you can write me at. I can share with you photo's and everything and put your mind at ease. doxielvr@gmail.com

Really relax! It isn't even painful from what my daughter told me
