the two are kittens but the stray is a few months younger. the kittens are boys and the older kitten acts like the younger one's mom

does he pee or spray???? if he's spraying then is he neutered?? could be just marking he territory but you should check with your vet for any more advice on getting him to stop. it may be that he's unhappy with the cleanliness of his box....only the vet can give you a better answer and a lot of times you can just call them and tell them what's going on instead of taking him in and being charged for it.

Hi: Well it may take time but every time the kitty goes in the house show him the kitty box. Or every time he goes in the house show him what he did & tell him "bad kitty" and then put him out. Most cats are easy to train because cats are mostly clean cats but sometimes you get a cat that can't be trained. I was told a squirt gun works great. Good Luck!! By the way, praise him when he does use the kitty box. Do not rub his nose in it!!

Hmmm.. He's not nuetered is he??
This is the first step in stopping the process.
It could also be that the new stray is using his litter box.
Put out two litter boxes so he has options.
Boy cats have these kind of problems. He's not doing it becasue he's mad, he's marking his territory and telling this new stray cat that it is HIS home. It's just how unfixed male cats act. :)
Good luck.
** DON'T THROW HIM OUT - IT'S NOT AN ANSWER. GET HIM NUETERED!!**

Put him in the garage with a litter Box and leave him there until he uses it.... And if he goes again in the house, seriously rub his nose in the pee....... And put him in the garage and leave him there.... He will get the hint. But he has his scent all over your carpet, so you have to have it professionally cleaned and let them know that he has pooed and peed and where..... They can do their best to use stuff to get out pet odor.. So that your cat will be less likely to do it again.. Don't leave him liked up in the house either...... Best wishes... And don't toss him out... But take care of this..

Have you tried discipline when he attempts to use household items as a public restroom? Try a quick spritz of water in his direction when he tries to go inside; it will force him to find alternate methods. If he is older, you have to be patient with him in learning new things, dont be so quick to throw out a loved cat, as this could make behavior alterations as well as a cleaner couch :)

He is "not using the restroom." He is marking his territory. Male cats and dogs, if not fixed, spray to mark their territory. He needs to be fixed or else it will continue on and on. The worst part about it is, the urine they spray to mark, smells very strong and is very difficult to remove the smell.

The cat needs to go. Get a dog instead, or a tarantula.
