I've taken Greyhound 2 or 3 times. There are several buses each day and they aren't expensive. You can get tickets online or right at the station. If you check online it's easier to check the time you want, the shortest time, and the fewest changeovers.

They take you to downtown Las Vegas to the bus depot right alongside the Plaza hotel/casino and Fremont Street Experience. You can pick up cabs right out front if you want. They have special stops before that sometimes at the Stratosphere or other casinos when they are running a special casino express...but they don't seem to announce those on the Greyhound website.

One thing you might want to know is that the ride to Las Vegas always seems to be nice and comfortable and uncrowded. But coming back to Los Angeles, no matter how late or early, is crowded and noisy and uncomfortable. As someone else mentioned, there are several stops here; El Monte, Riverside, Clairmont (or Montclaire, I get them mixed up) and downtown Los Angeles. Be very careful about getting the right tickets and the right bus...it's a little confusing.

Yeah, just go to greyhound.com and type in departure city as Las Vegas and arrival city as Los Angeles. A link to tomarrows schedule is posted below, looks like there is one at least ever few hours with no transfers and only about a 5-7 hour ride... also you can call 1800-Go-Greyhound to get a rep, or call the Vegas station at (702)382-5468. The Las Vegas station is located at 200 S. Main St., near where I-515 and I-15 meet up

The seats online look to run about $47.50 (one way), have a safe trip

Greyhound is the only intercity carrier between the two cities with a regular schedule. Try to avoid the local Greyhound bus service between the two cities; that stops in nearly every city along the way; the express service is about three hours shorter.

Take the Chinatown bus! It's probably your cheapest option! $25 round trip is hard to beat.
