If you have some reasonable considerations here, probably you may need to do some fact-finding first, of why he does what he does.
We often classify 'weird' behaviours when we lack understanding of the underlying factors, so probably you may 'test water' first by finding out more of the 'why'.
That started the ball rolling, and in a way, prepares him that you are diving into the topic. He may even ask you why are you asking that, and that is your chance to to voice your opinions about that behaviour.
Note: Selection of appropriate words is the key to effective communication.

Uh... depends on what he's doing.

Best way to do it, though, is to come right out and tell him what he's doing that's weird. No sense in beating around the bush about it.
