There are three Gods, the Father, the Son and the Spirit. God the Father does not have a father because He is the ultimate source of the other two for whence He breathed, they came to life.
Nothing's wrong with your inquiry, it's normal for us to inquire about His existence because we came from Someone. However, we have to keep in mind that just because we came from Someone doesn't necessarily follow that our Source also has a source- for He is ultimate.

We cannot concieve of the what created God question because we only know where WE came from, ie a mother and a father. As far as we know, God has always existed and will always exist. I choose to believe in God, so my answer is biased.

God is the Alpha. That's the quality of godness: not created, not engendered. "I am what am". Pure being. God has no father.

BTW, for the guidance of what people?

There are limits to human understanding and reasoning and you just hit ond one. Science depends on an orderly universe, and an orderly universe presupposes an intelligent Creator. After that, our little brains give out. Right now we are all "looking through a glass darkly".

you can't think of it in human standards. Linear time is a mortal consept. For God there is no time so theres no begining or end so God needs no Father. (Don't think about it to much it will make your head hurt)

GOD DOES NOT HAVE A FATHER. He is the beginning and the end.

Um. God is eternal. Has no beginning and no end. If you need a visual aid to understand this, picture a circle. No beginning, no end.
