HE is the son of God.
John 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Ok, no feelings hurt here. Jesus is God's son. Even though a lot of Bibles say (John 1:1) He is A God, some say he is God. But he was on earth and he prayed to his Father, God. But in Matthew 3:17 it says,"Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said:"This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved." therefore dispelling that he is actually GOD, but his Son, a God, since he helped God make the heavens and the Earth. There you, I didn't want to preach but you made me do it lol

In Christianity, there is a belief in Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Jews were promised a Messiah to deliver them from their sinful lifestyle. This Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah. But the Jews did not accept Him as the Messiah. He was crucified, died, and buried, but He rose again on the third day and went up into heaven to be with His Father. He will come back again the second time to receive His faithful children and take them to be with Him along with His Father.
Jesus is God, sent sent by God the Father in human form to pave a way of Salvation for mankind. He fulfilled His mission and went back to heaven. It is for us to accept the truth as it is found written in the Holy Bible and find salvation or reject and face the prospects of hell in later life.

It depends on who you ask. This is just one of the many things that Christians in general can't seem to agree on. Some say that he was God in the form of man, some say he's was the direct son of God, and some say that we are all sons of God. I say that the guy is overrated.

I think Jesus was a nice guy. He said some inspiring things and recommended behavior that would make ones life more enjoyable. I think he's a good guy.
I wonder if he would like NASCAR, McDonalds, and would he sign up for the Air National Guard?

Jesus states, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." When his apostle Philip asks to see the Father, Jesus responds, "How can it be that I have been with you so long and yet you still to not know me?"
