This is how I successfully lost 85 pounds and maintain my current weight for the last 4 years:
I went to a nutritionist. We went over a sensible eating plan--not a diet--because you have to change your eating habits permanently if you want successful weight loss and being able to keep it off. Then I went to the gym--got a personal trainer. She had me doing a lot of circuit training--and cardio (40-45 minutes a day) for at least 5 days a week. I worked my way up to that level--I didn't start out that way--but I made a point of being active as many days of the week as possible for at least 30 minutes at a time. Walking is a great way to start out getting moving. It works for me. There is no quick fix--no pill or special elixir that will make the pounds go away and stay away. The only thing that works is changing your eating and exercise habits and working like a dog to make it happen. It worked for me. Good luck!

1) Drink only water (NO SODA!)
2) Eat balanced meals everyday, lots of veggies.
3) Exercise for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. (jogging, light weight training).
Dont do these pills and get thin quick crap, it NEVER works, and if it does, its not healthy. You need to do a complete health makeover, stop snacking and eating sugary foods.

HONEST--- I stopped drinking soda. I eat fruit for breakfast, yogurt and a sandwich for lunch, and a big dinner. I don't eat any fried foods anymore. And every morning I stretch. I have lost 20 lbs in the past month and a half.
