How about under water? The Oriskany was recently sunk off the coast of Pensacola Florida in the Gulf of Mexico and they're now offering weddings on the sunken ship. I think that is neat for a non-traditional wedding setting.

I am a SCUBA diver and I think getting married under water would be lame but people do it...or is this place like a room underwater? Maybe if you are looking to go along this line, an aquarium like at Monterey Bay?

If you are looking for non-traditional sites, consider a nursery or flower farm...in a lot of cases, you can arrange their "stock on hand" into the type of setting you would like so it would be "custom."

I have always want to be married in a church or a vineyard. But now my boyfriend has land up in the mountains that is undeveloped and we want to build on one day. I would love to level off a space and put down sod and a gazebo and get married there. We would be getting married in the place that we plan to build our lives and our family.

Good luck!

I would probably not like to be married underwater - not much for kissing in salt water!!

I would definitely like to get married on the beach or in a park!

I also think that it is neat for a different and unique wedding style!

Personally, I've always loved the idea of a "destination wedding" - maybe in a castle in Europe or at the top of Grossglockner (the highest mountain in Austria - a GORGEOUS spot).
