I believe travelling helps promote communication a great deal.
It brings individuals with different backgrounds and cultures together.
Both parties come away learning something about different lifestyles and habits, which can produce some very interesting results.

Yes. The more people travel the more they know what others think and how their culture works. Sadly, many travel and don't appreciate or ever bother to understand that there are other people. They remain ignorant.
