No, they shouldn't really be eating it. But it's a matter of convenience. When you're driving around town and it's mealtime you either feed the kid snacks, get some fast food, or you drive home and prepare a meal. Sometimes it's easier to get that happy meal and get instant satisfaction for their little tummies.

I like that many restaurants are offering alternatives to french fries. And don't be too hard on fast food. Some of the home-cooked meals some kids get are just as junky. My daughter loves her chicken nuggets. The thinks the name of McDonalds is "Chicken!" But at home she gets lots of fresh veggies from the garden, 1% milk, real fruit juice, a variety of meats and grains.

It takes common sense. NO ONE should eat fast food as a large portion of their diet.

Children should not eat fast food. Although it seems easier to parents, it just spells out a life of improper and unhealthy eating habits as well as health problems later in life. Food should never be a treat. There are perfectly healthy options that still taste good and are palatable for children. There is no excuse for parents to give their children fattening, unhealthy, and salty foods.

Our children rarely eat fast food. That is the worse thing for kids. I don't cook much, but my wife cooks up a storm!

children should not be eating much fast food at all, and I believe it's either lazy in the cooking or not enough time or energy in the day to do so.

fast = fatty

We should try to be compassionate towards people who don't have time to cook - parents are stretched so thin these days.

But, I believe that kids shouldn't eat most food found in fast food restaurants. There are plenty of easy to prepare options at the supermarket these days (roasted chickens, salad in a bag, microwaveable dinners) - it comes down to educating parents.

Sure, they should eat fast food, but not often. Cookies are ok, ice cream is ok, and fast food is ok.

The problem with fast food is that people eat it too often. Kids need a balanced diet, but some fun here and there is ok.

I am lucky. My kids take after my wife when it comes to food. They like spinach, broccoli, squash, and all the crap. I hate it.

in some circumstances you purely do no longer go with to attend, or you purely could desire to also have a yearning. i'm particular those are additionally motives that folk consume speedy nutrients (lazy, no time) yet it fairly is form of a imprecise question interior the experience which you would be able to no longer pinpoint the only reason a huge volume of human beings go with to consume at particular eating places on occassion. In different words, why one individual eats speedy nutrients could be different than why somebody else does. Why do human beings write letters? lol.

My kids get to go to mcdonalds occassionally. That's when they are with grandma. I cook quite a bit but when they aren't here, there's only so much I can do. My girls would much rather eat green beans than chicken nuggets anyways
