Its like wearing a sign that says "i'm a moron". I dont understand why they would want everyone to see how dumb they are for being a christian by wearing a huge cross for everyone to see.

I don't know why anyone would post such hateful garbage for everyone to see what a dark, empty person they are. Faith, love, and joy for life..which is what comes with true Christianity... is never dumb. Regardless of whether you believe there is a God or not, a person of faith has many things going for them that you do not. 1.) They stand for something. 2.) They are at peace with death and feel comfort knowing that they will not just cease to exist. 3.) They have someone to turn to when life throws them a curve ball, and that someone will NEVER let them down. 4.) They are much more forgiving of people who have no faith than those that criticize them. 5.) They have a guidebook to help them through life And these are just a few. A cross does not say "I'm a moron". It says "the hole in my heart has been filled...that empty feeling is gone...that endless search for the reason we live has been answered... my nights of crying myself to sleep because something is missing no matter what I drink, smoke, or do have ended... It says I'm whole. I think that wearing and believing in what that cross stands for IS the most intelligent life choice a person can make.

You think that people who wear crosses to show they are christians are idiots and morons but you don't mind coming on a site like this and saying such stupid things and letting everyone know that you are a moron.
Jesus gave his life on the cross to save us from our sins so if some people want to wear a cross in appreciation, what's it to you?
The only true moron here is you, not because you are a sorry case who does not believe in Jesus, but because you are judging others who are showingwhat they believe in. At least they believe in something, I feel sorry for you for not having any beliefs.

What does it say about the people who wear the cross, and are not Christians? You need to balance your argument. You are correct in saying that the cross is a sign. It is a sign that speaks of consequences. This much dislike for one group of people has its own consequences, and it will show in your day to day life. You could be doing other things, instead of letting Christians get under your skin. Still name calling I see. That is weak. You can do better then that.

Well, I'm sure that someone with a different point of view could be asking something like "why do idiot atheists always post insulting and stupid questions, so that everyone can see how dumb they are for not being a christian?" But perhaps they are nicer than that.
To answer your questions - they love God and are proud of being one of Jesus' followers. It would be an assumption to call this belief dumb.

And all Christians do not wear crosses. I don't, my friends don't. Most of the people I see wearing a cross wear a small pretty one. I don't like them either, but they think it's okay.

I don't believe in god at all. But why does everyone focus their not believing on christianity. it's not like they're the only ones with a god. I feel like we shouldn't be trashing on just them. I know it's fun but did you ever think that they call you dumb for not wearing a cross?

Well I do not know if you wear tattoos or not but tattoos tell people who you are right? They say something of your identity, the same about cross and christians.
When you love someone do you like to keep a picture from them? The same about cross and christians, they wear a cross for remembering their loved one (Christ) and to say world they are engaged to Him.
But maybe you are a bit right to get upset because love for God can be bring inside, you do not need signs but respect their wishes to show up their God

I wear a cross every day of my life to witness to others my love for Jesus, my Savior who died on a cross so that I, a sinner, can go to heaven when I die.
I am proud to be a Christian and I don't feel stupid, because even If people ever did ridicule me for it I would feel honored that I was humiliated for Jesus' sake. Jesus said "Whoever loves his life will lose it and whoever loses his life for my sake will have life eternal."
I will pray for you, Drive, That you will find the peace that I have found in my God. I hope you know that I would never call you ugly names just because you don't believe as I do. And I also pray that you will never have to feel as bad as the Christians do when you make fun of them and when you debase them. I know you would not like it if someone were to make fun of what you believe in and hold sacred. I love you,too.

Well, as I can somewhat agree with you since I dislike any form of organized religion, people are allowed to believe what they want to believe in. Hence, followers are allowed to follow... and if a symbol makes them what they are, then a symbol is all they are. Morons or not, I personally would not like to be defined by an object. Especially one hanging around my neck that denotes a myth.

I am a Christian and want nothing to do with the cross. It's like hanging the bullet your mother was short with around you neck....Plus many early Christians saw the cross as a real live death threat so why would I want to hang that around me...
