do you think we the filthy rich (as you all call us) care about you? Why do you waste your time debating nonsense? Do you all actually think that writing to your congressmen or writing your opinions on the internet will make a difference? No matter how hard you all try, we will always be able to buy off the politicians. You all elect them, they pass some of the laws you all demand, and we pay them not to enforce them. For all of you who say that politicians work for us the big companies, you all are correct. Why do we hire illegal immigrants? We do it because we can. The U.S. government is not a socialist one, companies are owned by individuals so they can’t tell us what to do. We refuse to higher the wages of low skilled workers, that is why most of us do not hire American citizens. American citizens demand too much for their low working skills. Is it our fault that you all didn’t go to a university and get well educated so you could have a good paying job? Do you all think that if all the illegal immigrants were deported and the government would raise the federal minimum wage, you all would live better off? The answer is no. Even if the government raised the minimum wage, we the corporations would have to raise the cost of products you all buy. The result would be the same. This are basics of economics. They shouldn’t have to teach this in economics because it is common sense. This goes for all those who debate other issues also. My advice to you all is to not waste your time. Get educated. And I’m sorry for breaking some of you peoples heart but I was only speaking the truth. This will be the only message I will post and this is the first and only time I will post it. I will not waste my time with you all, you all are not worth my time. I just thought you would all want to hear the truth.

Go to hell. The "truth" my @ss!!!! It's because of people like you with your kiss-my-@ss ego that get the world no where at all. Maybe if the "filthy rich" could pull their gold plated sh!t out of their @ss and TRY to help society rather then lay back in their leather Lay-Z-Boyz and smoke those foreign cigars, then the world wouldn't be so "horrible" as you see it.

I'm not poor, but I'm certainly not "filthy rich" either. I work my @ss off every day to get myself through college and make a living. And maybe some day I'll be YOUR kid's teacher, teaching about how horrible and cruel society can be. And then I guess you'll want to call a Parent-Teacher meeting and wonder why I'm "brainwashing" your spoiled-@ss daughter. You somehow remind me of that little brat on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She always pissed me off.

Don`t underestimate the people, that is how our country started by kicking out corporate ran government. The gap between the rich and poor is the problem today. Look back at the 50s 60s and 70s you will see why "The People" are about to stop "We the People" from turning into 'We the corporation". Even if you raise minimum wage by 7% our product can only raise about 2% before "The People" start smashing things. Corporations are not people and should not have the same rights. Corporations do not have feelings and today most large corporations put the stockholder in front of making the best product possible for the American people. The corperation works for us, "We the People"

Well one thing is true ... the big corporations have bought the administration .. but we all know that! We also know that Bush's lip service to sending the National Guards to the border was a crock of **** too ... if he really wanted to, he could have ordered them down there by now ... as for raising the minimum wage, well, you also have to SELL the products you produce, and there's only so much a market can take before prices go static, as anyone who studied economics will tell you ... what you really mean is that if the minimum wage is raised, or even met, you will come out with less profit ...

Risking the security of the country by not enforcing our immigration laws for the sake of making a quick extra buck is despicable ... and unfortunately, this is what this country has come to, with the spineless bunch in Washington aiding and abetting breaking their own laws, either because they've been bought, or because they're quavering in their boots about reelection ... in any other country, it would be treason to encourage an invasion, albeit mostly unarmed, from another soverign country .... and with any other administration, it would be considered treason here too!

Well, I agree that minimum wage is a bad idea. However if you really understood economics, you would understand that it is the smaller businesses that make up the "fabric" of American business that will be hit the hardest. I don't buy the bit about the gov being owned by the corporations either. My guess is that you are not rich and are trying to set people off.
By the way, you could use a little Prozac.

Well, your message is NOT for me: I am neither poor nor the middle class. The great wealth of my family has placed me among the most elite of which you speak. I have no misbeliefs about this place, because I too have said the same things here. This is certainly not the place to change the world.

With that said, I do not dispute the information you bring to this forum. At the very least you are a truth teller. I advocate human rights here and in China and know that patriotism is disguised as the side of ugliness. The learned behaviors of adversity begin with the young people just like the ones here.

This is true, In the way the worl is set up now... but if wethe people can make a change, there would be the fall of free trade, and the rise of a wall along the boards ...

We need to do something to insure our rights ...OSHA, and Unions, are losing their pull in goverment concerns... we need to do something .


If free trade can come to a end, the corporations would need to make more jobs in the U.S. , and with immigration undercontrol they would need to pay U.S. workers the wadges they desrve.

The idea that corporations would just raise prices , is true to a point. If you did not notice, companies like to keep prices as low as possible, corporations will run closer to the cost to produce to get their products sold . thus it will all even out , and America will survive.

I belive if corporations , don't lose their strngle hold onthe people of this country, the world will fall into a near communist state under the dark curtin of globalization .
