God is both male and female. To view a male god without a female side is like viewing half of God.

God is a male. If God was a female we would have our heavenly Mother not Father. But it also stands to reason that we do have a mother if we have a father. So God must be protecting her from the bad things people would say. I know I wouldn't want my wife or mother used as a cuss word.

Female and let me tell you why.
From the start of my life Ilife has been screwing with me. I'm the youngest of 11children with 7 yes 7 older sisters. (talk about PMS) In the course of my life I have come within a breath of dieing maybe 7 times. (slammed my bicycle into an oncoming car that turned in front of me, nearly burned to death in a trailor fire) The last time I almost died I sat down and realized that the only reason I'm still alive is that GOD is a woman and she just isn't done screwin' with me yet.

The Bible says "God the Father" so He is male. Jesus, the Son of God and the Author and Perfector of the Christian faith also calls Him "Father". God loves man and woman equally as His children so I don't know if this should be a problem.

God has neither shape nor visible and has no gender. God is almighty and we can only imagine god is male or female, according to our religion and believes.

God is a Spirit, but definitely a He. Many verses refer to Him as such. You will find all that information in the first 2 chapters of Genesis, the first book of the Bible.

god is female.

i think such because female = beauty and god is beautiful.
// end

acctually he's neither

edit// the term "father" used in the bible and prayers and such is more of a term of respect than literal. like how catholics call priests "father" despite them not bieng acctual fathers. also, the bible was written in a male-dominated world. the thought of a female god (multiple-god-religions excluded) would have made christianity die almost before it began!

One of the Old Test. Scriptures say, "when my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will lift me up." One of the names for God means "the Breasted One". If you look at all the names of God in their truest sense, He is to mankind what we need Him to be. He is All in All....But as others have pointed out, He is in male form. Of course the Bible says He is Spirit.
