what to do if you like a guy. we talk all the time at work and he even comes over in my spot to talk and i do the same thing to him too. i want to ask him out to the movie. but what i don't know is that if i have to tell him that i like him or just ask him to the movie and leave things the way they are?

Personally, I do not like when a girl asks me out. I like it when the girl sends signals to let me know she's interested but from there lets me make the first move.
But guys are different. Different strokes for different folks.

I'd say just ask him to the movie, but don't let me know how you feel just yet. I would be flattered if I were that guy. It sounds like he's into you, at least as a friend, if not more.
IIf he accepts, then just continue to read his signals. If he's interested, it won't take long to find out after that... It seems like you have little to lose and possibly a lot to gain.
If he's intimidated by a forward woman, then it's his loss.

Just start by asking him to the movie, and that will get things flowing, and Maybe by the end of the date you guys can say how you feel.

Well.. dating a man from work might not be a good idea to me. That means if you do date and break up you have to deal with seeing him at work all the time. If it was me, I would just remain friends :)

Just casually ask him if he'd like to unwind some night after work and catch a movie. You don't have to tell him anything more.

u dont have 2 tell him @ first maybe u could suggest that u plan to go to z movie alone,but need a little company, so if he dont mind,if he likes you, he'll come, and things will gradually flow, and before u kno it , he's tellin u that he likes u.
