Toyota's last FOREVER if you keep it well maintenced. Such as, getting the oil changed when it needs to be changed, keeping good tires on it, changing spark plugs and wires when needed. Fords break down too often. I have a Toyota and it ROCKS!! Good luck!

There are number of factors to consider:
Milage
body condition
planned usage for your car
Jumping out into highways quickly open road usage
More city/ stop and go, acceleration not so much a factor
Mustang is one of Ford's speed flag cars while the Cammery is heralded by toyota for reliability and comfort. It all comes down to what you need from a car. Also remember: most people only keep a car max 5 years. When deciding what you need from a car look at the time frame you need it.

My son had a 95 Mustang w / a 5.0 L engine, and it had lot's of problems (A/C, transmission, power accesories, etc...). My wife is driving a 98 Camry CE w / 4 cylinder engine and it has been problem free. It has 108,000 miles on it and still runs like new. I'd buy the Toyota, particularly if it's well maintained.

it all depends on you. what are you looking for in a car? sporty or comfort? single or married with children? reliability goes to the toyota (i'm sad to say) but the fun goes to ford. your comparing apples to oranges. figure out what you want and THAT will be the better deal. and don't bother us again with such a vague question.
