I am sorry for all the stupid *** answers you got on this one. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother with this website. Sometimes the stupid comments hurt even though you do not know the people. But then there are the honest questions like yours that I like to try and help with. First, how long have you known this person? If you are on a first date, it can be like that when you kiss. But you get to know them REALLY and its like ok this isn't what I thought why did I waste my time. My advice is spend some time with him. I am not old only 33, but I find that if you spend a few weeks with an infatuation they don't measure up. Don't give up the goods until you have spent a few weeks with them. Because if you do, you will feel let down and guilty. I f you wait then you might find out who they are. If it is truly a good person, then you can move on from there and not feel guilty. Bottom Line: Do not put to much into the first kiss, ride it out. Make sure he treats you like a lady at all times. Never settle for less than that. And when he does that, you know you have a real man and you treat him accordingly.

Sounds like lust. You may be in love for all I know, but a physical feeling in the pit of your stomach can simipoly mean you want to tap that with a quickness.

Either you really do have strong feelings for this person and your nerves are getting the best of you, or your body is simply sending you physical signals of what your mind is subconciously thinking of your current situation. Does he remind you of someone, or make you feel uncomfortable in any other way? Good luck! Usually people say follow your gut instinct!

i don't think love makes one sick to stomach. yes, butterflies, fire, dimensional distortion, but nausea -- no. i do think a heavy dose of lust might make you experience nausea. it comes from the dislocation between your deepest ideals of love and the sexual excitement you feel. consider all the great love poems and songs. have you ever heard one mention sick to the stomach? "i love you so much i could puke." of course love sick, which really means more of a loss of appetite and no need to sleep and being high. That's love sick. but nausea, no. not love. sorry.
