Masturbation can be addictive like any activity that gives you pleasure. Eating and shopping can also become addictive. These activities have a psychologically addictive affect rather than a physically addictive affect like heroin or nicotine.
You will know if you are addicted to masturbation because you will have abrasions around your genitals and it will start to interfere with other aspect of your life such as seeing family and friends, going to work and having fun doing other things.
Most people can eat, shop and masturbate in moderation. Usually if you become addicted to something, it means you are trying to escape from something else that causes you pain.
I should think there is a help line, there's one for every other addiction.

Masturbation is normal.Everyone has some sort of sex drive.Younger guys do this alot and girls for that matter.Its a way of getting to know your body and what you like.Is it wrong?Some say yes.I dont know your religious views and i dont want to tell you something different.It can become addictive though to answer your question.If it becomes a problem for you go to sex addicts anonymous and read a little.They may have chat lines in there to ask questions.

There are sure to be some people who have an addiction to masterbation but in general it is a normal and natural pleasure. If anyone feels that they have an addiction and that it is causing problems in their life then they should firstly go along to their doctor and explain the situation. The doctor will be able to advise on whether councelling or other treatment is required.

wouldn't masturbaters anonymous be a circle jerk? yes it is addicitve and you should not worry too much because it will stop when you die. until then just dont pull too hard and always stay behind closed doors. EVERYONE does it or they lie about it. EVEN THE GROUP COUNSELOR DOES IT IN MASTURBATERS ANONYMOUS!!! he is just jerking ou guys that join around about it. if you do it over four time a day, you need to stay up later to cach up on the lost time.
