No way !! Females all around the world have been living a long double standard life. You want to be placed on the same level as man, want to be treated equally and get super duper sensitive when it comes to gender issue. But yeah, you still want your boyfriend to spend money on you. WTH is that ? Me as a guy will only spend money on a girl for these certain conditions
1. I have income and she is not (she is studying, etc)
2. She is my full-time house wife ( yeah you heard me, if you work, no extra allowance for you )
3. She is really2 broke but I really want to go out.
Other than that, it ll be on 50-50 basis !!! Screw double standard chickaaaaaaaaaaaaas !!!

Anything is better than nothing at all right? That is how I feel about it anyway. This way she gets to buy what she wants. In my eyes you both win, but make sure a habbit isn't made of it. Sometimes women just want something sweet and unexpected like a flower or a funny romantic card.

It depends on the situation. If it's a small amount to buy lunch, sure. If it's a large amount, but it's a loan, ok. But just handing a lot of money over to the person your dating all the time isn't a good idea.

Depends on the situation and how long you've been dating. If the boyfriend doesn't want to give the money than he shouldn't feel obligated.

if she ask him to (as long as shes a good girlfriend don't get a girl that will ask you for money every hour or large doses every day) or if its on a special occasion that would be nice to give her some money like her mothers birthday

No way. Flowers, candy, and pay for her in dates...I am ok with that but when your bf gives you money that is disrespectful even if he owes you. Let him pay you back some other way like paying your entrance to a movie or something.

If he does this to help her out or as a gift, it's great. If she's constantly asking for money or things for him to buy for her, she's a user and he should move on.
