some LG tvs have wats called AVL, automatic volume leveller, which is a setting you can turn on through the menu, it helps to curve the high frequencies advertisers use to get your attention

Pretty cool idea. Maybe you should get it patented before someone else takes the credit for it.

You're kidding, right? Magnavox has been doing that for years already, and my new Toshiba also has that feature.
