It completely depends on the quality of the haircut, and on your face and your figure, in my opinion.

A girl can have the shortest hair in the world, and if she is curvy, no one will mistake her for a boy. Also, a lot of girls with kind of cute litte faces with pointy chins and upturned noses look darling with short haircuts.

If you would like to have your hair cut really short, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I actually sported a longish, Billy Idol type crew cut in high school for a while. No one ever thought I was a boy, and it was so easy to take care of! The key is going to a really good hairstylist that knows you, and is good at analyzing the shape of your face and the texture of your hair correctly, so they can give you just the right cut. You may find that the cut you think you would like will not look good on you, but there may be another super cute shortie cut that will.

If you need ideas, look at hairstyle magazines, either at the salon, or before you go see your stylist. (Most well stocked magazine racks, even at grocery stores, will have at least one or two kinds of magazines about hairstyles.) Get an idea of what you really like, and what you really don't like, and tell your stylist about it really honestly. A good stylist will be very honest with you, and will tell you what will work for you and what will not. Good stylists aren't in it for the money, they chose that career because they want to help people look their best.

It depends on the hair cut you get. Every 18 months to 2 years, I get my hair cut really short and donate 16 to 19 inches (which is what they cut off initially) to the locks for love program. I look really good with my hair short as well as long. Just get the right short style hair cut that looks good with the size and shape of your face. A hair stylist will know some good ideas, just ask for their suggestions before they do the cutting.

I think everyone has a different looking face. Sometimes when a girl cuts her hair short, she actually looks better because of the way her face looks... but i have seen where it doesnt look that great. It also depends on the type of person.. I think girls that do cut their hair short and style it the right way, they are very pretty. Long hair is usually a pain, but that also depends on the person :)

if you have a face shaped more like a boy, yes the hair will look like a boy,

i had cut my hair once, while cutting it, i clipped it too short in one spot and i had a big gap which would have been very noticeable, so i shaved my hair off to a very short cut, better known as a crew cut. good thing i have very think hair, i got away with it and another good thing, my hair grows back fast, so it was not short for long.

if you can get a short haired wig, barrow it and try to see how it will make her face look, before you cut the hair and not like it.

As long as you have very feminine features and a love of great eye makeup or lip gloss, you should be gold. I rocked a pixie cut a few years back and it really makes your features stand out, so I played up my eyes with some bright eye shadows and liquid liner and used a lot of bright pink blushes and lip glosses. I also had a lot of fun with tinted hair pomades...my favorite was the black hair with dark blue streaks. Very fun.

It depends on your facial features. I used to wear my hair like barely 1 inch long and spiked all over. I didn't look like a boy. Not every girl can wear their hair real short though. Go to a hair salon and ask a cosmetologist.

well as somebody said before me it depends on how short you get it.Like i had this friend that got her hair cut it was in the 4rth grade her hair didnt even go pass her ears she was so embarrased that whenever the teacher would tell her to read a paragraph in our history book her face would turn bright red i mean bright.to be honest i thoght that she was going to pass out.
