Hair test is usually a 9 month growth max. The root is most important in the test.

No it will not show up if you have been in the room with it.. a hair test goes back only about 90 days to nine months, so if it has been 13 years since you have smoked you should be fine..

Not unless the room was closed up and the smoke was so heavy that you were inhaling actual amounts of concentrated smoke it wouldn't. It's not like minute traces can enter your body through your pores or anything.
