Let's break this down into smaller questions. First: Would an entity that transcends time be capable of thought or emotions?
Sure. By definition, transcending time simply means to exist through it. All living (and unliving) things that exist, do so through time.
Second: Would an entity that is all-knowing be capable of thought or emotions?
Sure. History and mythology are full of literary examples pointing to all-knowing beings that have the full spectrum of thoughts and emotions.
Third: Would an entity that is all-powerful be capable of thought or emotions?
Again, the answer is yes. All religious literature, as well as mythology from the dawn of time up to contemporary Superman, tells us that all-powerful beings can both think and feel emotions.
So, if you combine those smaller questions into your original question, the combined answers remain "Yes."

This transcendant Being as Hebrew Christian Scripture has it made us in His image- and we are capable of emotion and thought. By the way, string theory has vibrating strings at the basis of the universe- might we ask if they vibrate in response to His creative and sustaining Word just as the Text has it- making Him not only transcendant but also immanent???? Anselm's "Greatest possible being" who you might say is only a figment- but then He wouldn't be the greatest possible being because the greatest Possible being must by definition exisit. What is cannot come from what is not.
Peace to you all.

absolutely! we can see already that this "entity" is truly a BEING who has emotions, and thoughts. First of all, since he is totally unperceptable by our human senses, the only way we would know about Him is if he revealed himself to us in a way we COULD perceive. That we DO perceive the existence of such a being is prima facie evidence that he has revealed himself, and thus he does care about us enough to make himself known to us.
The amazing thing is that in all of eternity, God reflected on His nature, (much as we do with a mirror and consider who we are). Since everything God does is CREATIVE, His thought of himself has existence ( the Son). By example, if WE had creative power, EVERY thought or dream we had, would have existence also.. (Isn't THAT a scary thought?) When God the Father, and God the Son think about and reflect on the love they have for each other, THAT has existence also- The Holy Spirit. Then he thought about us in a way that we could exist and also have a share in this eternal and perfect love. And here we are.

maybe. i dont think it would have any use of them though. if it knows everything, there would be no use in trying to learn or decipher anything... as for emotion.. i think it would be able to feel things, but at the same time.. if you know everything, you're filled with good and bad thoughts all the time. and would see natural processes very clearly and would look at each event as being just like another, leaving no room for new feelings.
sorry if i'm rambling.. i jsut got off work and am tired.

God is all powerful and He was still mainfied in the flesh to come to be a man and die on the cross for the sins of the world. He has made away for sinful man to escape hell. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Philippians 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The fact that you write that the "entity" is "all-knowing" implies that there is thought involved. The fact that there are thoughts involved leads us to believe that there is the possibility or assumption that emotions also exist.

Yes, God has emotions and He thinks. God was angry and regretted having made man when man worshiped the golden calf, and the bible says he loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son. God just thought of and said, let there be light and light came.

probably not, unless this entity is human, which is highly unlikely because no human can transcend time...infact nothing can transcend time, time cannot be controlled

Absolutely. If it's all-knowing, then it knows thought and emotion.
