What do Scientologists,Mormons,andRastarfarians believe in?
And why don't Jehovah witnesses say the pledge of the United States and not celebrate birthdays or holidays?

As a Jehovah's Witness.......
We don't salute to a flag because it is a form of worship. When you are saluting the flag you are making an oath/vow of devotion/obedience to " A FLAG."
Jehovah's Witnesses devote themselves to Jehovah and Jehovah ONLY. We truly live by the Bible and its belief, at Matthew 4:10 it says, "Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’"
So, we pay close attention to our actions and what we do.
As, for birthdays and holidays? In a short phrase........... The Bible doesn't teach it!!!

I don't know about Mormon's and Rast but me and a guy at work were actually talking about Scientology today. He explained to me that they believe that there are the spirits of 1000 dead aliens from some far off galaxy that were sent here many years ago and when they died their spirits live in every one of us. They also don't believe in modern medicine or psychology and that all problems we face as humans can be dealt with internally and individually. Its some crazy sh!t
I guess there are 7 levels that one must attain as they ascend through the religion. The 4th level the alien thing is revealed to them. I don't know how much of this is true because I've never looked into it myself but this is what I got from the conversation I had today. Either way, its a manufactured and practically a business religion where your advancement has a lot to do with how much money you give to the religion.

Scientologists beleive in Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard. (science fiction mumbo jumbo)
Mormons or Later Day Saints beleive in God and Morman Prophets. They are very big on family history.
Jehovah Witnesses are against blood transfusions. They think that it takes away from God by having celebrations. They don't want to swear and that is what they think the pledge is since it says "under God."

Scientology is an applied religion.. people aren't usually only Scientologists.. for example I'm Catholic-Scientologist.. we believe in helping ourselves, not only putting our faith in God. We believe that to make our lives better we shouldn't depend on anyone else. People think that we believe in aliens and crazy things like that but they just misunderstand.. people are ignorant.

jehovahs witnesses dont say the plege because we believe it is giving idol worship to someone else other than god. he is a good exacting of exclusive devotion. we dont celbrate birthdays because jesus himself did not celebrate his own birthday and we try to follow his exammple. also because in the bible there are examples of birthdays in which people are murdered. as for other holidays many have pagen backgrounds and worship to other gods. to know jehovahs witnesses beliefs you may go here: www.watchtower.org

To truly understand what any one religion believes would take up more time and space than can be crammed into one answer. To quickly sum up the Mormon side, the belief is that Christ has called modern prophets and apostles and through them has restored His gospel and church in its fullness.

All these religions believe or are organized to make life supposedly more meaningful and easy access to fullness of life, and heaven in the process.

JW's wont pledge to anything/one but G-d, that includes a country or flag.
