I have long, course, curly hair and an ovular face shape, bordering on round. I try to keep to hold to a casual rocker style. How should I style my hair?

first of all DON"T CUT IT!!! when its still wet put in some product for straightening and shine...matrix is best....just to let you know its not girly to put product in your hair...i'm a rocker too and a lot of the guys in the band i'm in use product

actually, hot oil treatments do little for your hair because of the molecular structure of the actual oil.
i think keeping your hair longer may help lengthen your face. personally though, when i see guys with really long curly hair i think of 80's hair bands-- and not in a good way.
however, in my opinion, if kept above the shoulders it feels more modern and up-to-date.
i would suggest a product for curls and frizz, which i'm sure you have a problem with considering the type of hair you have. they have some decent ones over the counter, i've tried frizz ease and liked it okay.
i agree with another poster, it isn't "girly" to use styling products.. i think it shows that you care about your appearance. to me, that's sexy.
you might want to try a flat iron, to test out straight hair. who knows. it's up to you. if you do that, though, make sure to purchase a ceramic iron.. it's much better for your hair.

Maybe you should ask a hairstylist and try using hair mousse if you don't already. With out mousse, I think I would just die! So yeah...Just ask a hair cutter or something at like Great Clips or even lok in magazines or online! It's really easy. But keep it long! Long hair looks great on any man...almost.

Layering always helps coarse, curly hair. Consider a length midway between your shoulders and earlobes.

do not cut it..let it grow to your waist, all one length..just keep it washed and conditioned..

make sure to maintain it hot oil treatments and trim often if you don't want look like a mop head layer it or it will grow too bushy and when layering make sure you go to some one who is a professional and confident in layering or you will have a misshapen butchered head

Keep it long, and if you want that "Rocker" look, color it darker! Black, or if you want your hair to be brown, make it a darker shade!

I think you should cut it short or shave it bald! Men with long hair just don't look right.
