For me, it's the book of Proverbs because I find it is the most practical to my everyday life.

I suppose that Romans is the most read book out of the Bible by me.
Why? Because it lands some heavy reality as to the nature of sin and the nature of grace through faith. It counters James' works agenda; from which we get many legalistic doctrines throughout history. Paul and James had their differences. I lean towards Paul, though not in a Marcion way.

Revelation chapter 18
Why ? Because it describes in detail the events of September the 11th, and the freaky thing is that near the end of the book!

The Gospel according to John: Chapter 3
Because this is where Jesus preaches the gospel. If every preacher preached the gospel according to this foundation as Jesus spoke it to Nicodemus, all would be preaching the same and the only true gospel.

I have to agree with Ms2pac I love psalms because it is comforting. I've needed more comforting of late. I also like 1st John because it teaches us so much about Jesus's love for mankind.

Actually, I must answer Romans and Hebrews for doctrine and faith issues, respectively.\
Sorry...I mentioned books, rather than a chapter.
