i am a member of the church of christ and i was invited to church with my best friend at a place called the new covenant church of christ. does anyone know the difference between the 2?

The difference doesn't matter as long as both believe that Jesus is the Son of God and Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Also, if the regular Bible is taught.
You may find that you'll get more out of the service and God may be leading you to check it out.
I never would have gone to the church I belong to. I only went to get my friend off my back. I got saved that day and never wanted to go any where else. I feel like the preacher is speaking right to me, like he knows what my lifes about and teaches accordingly.
It's not boring, because it's relevant.

The Church of Christ is nationwide, is it not? ...but I know little about it, but believe it is non-denominational and of sound doctrine. The other sounds like an independent church, much like many "community" churches found in almost any town, and are generally bible based and also nondenominational. I doubt if you'll run into any serious conflicts. But there is a church called the "New Covenant Church of God" that is quite different. You can look them all up on Google or other search engine.

they don't look to be on my own. Many Christian denominations are warped into undesirable habit by technique of Christianity mixed with a reliance on OT theology. i believe each and every Christian has memories of being abused by technique of different committed contributors making claims about their worthiness of salvation, and in the journey that they don't, they're likely the protagonist in a great number of a narrative.

first of all Jesus didn't make a church......he just gave a teaching.
OTHERS made the religion and the exploitation system which is called CHURCH.
and because there was a conflict of interests...(who is gonna get the most) they made many many churches so each one(church )has its own sheep and milk them,....

idk wat church of christ is but new covenant church of christ is a church where they have false teachings that there is no Father or Holy Ghost but that Jesus is it only. also i do not support trinity nor jesus only, i believe that Jesus is the Son of God and i do have the Holy Ghost wit tongues but i dont believe that HG or JC are God or a part of God
covenant church of christ is the new name for the denomination that was PCC or pentecostal church of christ, inc. not truly Christians according to scripture.
