Schizoid personality disorder is a mental disorder characterized by a loner attitude. Symptoms of this disorder can include emotional coldness and detachment, inability to express emotions, prefering solitary activities, lack of desire for close contact with other people, indifference to praise or criticism, indifference to social norms, lack of desire for sexual activities and preoccupation with fantasy.
