not really, I mean I do try to take my bike if I want to go for a nice ride instead of a cool drive through the country in my car. Gas prices aren't too bad where I live (around 2.60-2.40 a gal) but when I go somewhere like toward chicago and gas is 3.09 a gal or more, then yes, I usually just walk somewhere then. At home though I'll drive even though I could probably just bike there.

Yup - I have a Toyota Echo ('01) that used to take under $12 to fill. It now costs almost $30 to fill!!! This vehicle gets around 42mpg, so it's not as bad as others' suvs, or heavier cars. . . but still - the cost from 12 to 30 is a healthy chunk of change. . .
I bought a 10 speed bike before summer, and am using that a lot these days.

Well I have been riding my bike more. My husband and I are car pooling. But these are things I think we will stick with even if gas prices go back down. But we probably would have never stuck to them to begin with if it weren't for high gas prices.

Yes I cut back on my trips to Target and I shop at the crap supermarket near me, instead of the good one 2 miles further. And I don't drive to the city any more, I take public transportation. Grrrr $3.30 here in NYC!

i'm in contract with you, regardless of the indisputable fact that the gasoline expenditures are about to come back down, quickly. acceptable this second they're nevertheless intense, even although the cost in accordance to gallon of oil has dropped, because the oil agencies nevertheless ought to make up the price of intense barrels of the oil that they had in the previous bought from the overindulged, pompass Arabs, like Opec. i imagine they forgot that once you die, you won't be able to take the money you made with you....to Hell.

I am aware of it, but when you have to go somewhere, you have to go. I haven't changed my holidays or anything. But some places would definitely be cheaper to fly to now.
If I am cruising around, I'm on the bike. So, not so bad.
I am in Canada. It is 41.05 a Litre. Not sure what that works out to per gallon.

yes. I used to drive most every Saturday to road races around the state, but now I pick about one a month and run it. Otherwise, I do not drive more than 20 minutes away for a race. poop. I had so much fun....

Yes, at 60.00 a tank gets into your piggy bank. Currently I plan a vacation closer to home. The last one in my back yard with beef, brats, beer and fireworks. Had a good time!
