They could sell you Hill's Rx diet i/d in a can that is bland. It is very good for recovering from Parvo. Otherwise, boiled white rice and LEAN hamburg. Feed a little every 2-3 hours for the first few days and then increase the amount and start adding kibble slowly. The whole process can take 2 weeks or more to get the digestive tract back on track.

I am a Vet tech so i hope this will help you. Bland things mean anything simple.
Basically, feed him whatever he will eat. Most parvo dogs stop eating, start vomiting, and bloody diahrrea. If he eats canned food, thats great. Boiled chicken is also good for him, just keep it to a minimal of mixing food, at least for another 4 or 5 days. But if he is well enough to go home, then he should be good with some kind of canned food.

One of the best things I have found to feed a convalescing pet is chicken boiled with white rice.
It is the one meal I have always been able to get them to eat, even the ones with no appetite.
Don't add and seasonings of any kind.
I usually have chicken at the house anyway.
Even with a weak stomach, the chicken and rice seems to stay down and not cause any problems.

Cook some rice. Instant rice cooks quicker...cook some hamburger. drain grease off.Mix rice and hamburger together.. store in refrig. Feed him small amounts 3-4 times a day. cooked noodles are also bland...watch out for greasy food

Just some regular canned dog food. It's soft and easy to digest.
