how can i make the relationship progress if i've liked the guy for 4 yrs and we just have friendly conversations and all that but i like him so much more. do i show him that i like him or should i wait and let him come to me?

But to actually answer your question. There are ways to let another person know that you are interested in them in a different way. But remember, sometimes when you take a friends relationship to the next level all you do is ruin a good friendship. Just be honest and speak your feelings. Either he reciprocates and your relationship changes, or he doesn't and you maintain what you have.
